Three Ground Rules Before We Start:

1.

Nominate any U.S.-based nonprofit you think would benefit from branding help. This doesn’t exclude organizations who already have a logo. We’ll vet all nominees for true need and often, we find that there’s quite a bit of brand beyond the logo that still needs to be created.

2.

You may nominate a nonprofit if you work for them, have worked for them, know someone who worked for them, or have never worked for them. It doesn’t matter. What matters is that you nominate and provide us a suggestion on who to contact!

3.

By nominating a nonprofit, you agree that your email address may be added to the audience list for our newsletter, Brandpact. This works in your favor because ONLY subscribers will be eligible to vote for the winner when the June issue comes out!

How can I tell if a nonprofit needs branding help?

No logo? Check. Logo but not a lot of consistency in their visuals or messaging? Check. Logo and good outreach but struggling for dollars or volunteers? Check. A strong brand can help lift organizations to the next level and unlock goals they haven’t been able to reach otherwise.

Are there any restrictions on who we can nominate?

Yes - this contest is open to nonprofits based here in the United States. They can be operating globally but for this go-round, they must be based here. The plan is to open this contest to global nominees at a later date.

When will voting begin?

The nomination window will be open until May 29th, 2024. This allows time to contact and assess all nonprofit’s branding needs, including confirming whether they’d like to participate. That will take a few weeks so voting will open when the June issue of Brandpact comes out (right around the middle of the month).

Why can only newsletter subscribers vote for the finalists?

Our hope is that by containing the voting to those who are truly invested in helping the nonprofits, this will reduce the chance of it becoming a popularity contest. We'd like to avoid organizations who already have good awareness from crowding out the smaller organizations in the vote.
